“Finding yourself" is not really how it works. You aren't a ten-dollar bill in last winter's coat pocket. You are also not lost...finding yourself is actually returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got its hands on you.”
~ Emily McDowell
My Approach
Bio
I use a relational attachment-based philosophy to inspire meaning-making, insight exploration and curiosity. Using a person-centered humanistic approach, I collaborate with my clients to create a safe place for self-discovery.
I incorporate elements of mindfulness, EMDR, body work and DBT skills as well as parts work.

I want to make sure we always work at a pace you're comfortable with. You will learn to trust in your own resiliency and abilities as you navigate your healing journey with me by your side.

Reconnection and celebration of my true self has become an integral part of my life and practice. I cherish joy, play, and fostering deep connections with others.

I graduated from California State University Northridge with my bachelors and received my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University.

I have been with and trained at Southern California Counseling Center for four years, where I have witnessed and been humbled by the incredible journeys of my clients. In addition to working with individuals, couples and children, I have facilitated a variety of groups, including teen/childrens' grief groups with Our House, a social anxiety support group with Anita Avedian (LMFT), and a trauma-informed womens' anger management / DV group. I am currently working as an individual therapist with Hope Therapy Group in Southern California.
